IH Xi'an student wins 5th prize in national competition!

Congratulationsto Yue Xu from IH Xi’an who came 5th in China's CCTV English Speaking Talent Competition! The CCTV English Speaking Talent Competition is a unique English competition held at a national level. 130 competitors took part in the final which was held in Beijing in front of an audience of 1.6 million – and watched on television by a further 20 million!This year was the first year that IH Xi’an took part in the competition so they were delighted that Yue Xu came 5th! Two more students also made in into the top ten which was a truly great result for IH Xi’an and they are already looking forward to taking part in the competition next year!The competition was truly IH as the following schools were involved in sponsoring the event: IH Belfast, IH Bristol, IH New York, IH Cape Town, IH Barcelona, IH Freiburg, IH Vancouver, IH Toronto, IH Newcastle, IH Malta and IH Dublin.
