Our school:

International House Xi'an lies south of the historical city walls and is housed in a modern two-story building. The school has 16 classrooms, a central information office, a library with self-learning material, a student commeon room, a computer room with ten computers connected to the internet, a room for functions, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. In the summer, the courtyard with its many plants, and the roof terrace add their open spaces to the premises.

Chinese and Internship Program

Our unique Chinese Language and Internship Program is designed specifically for Xi'an ILS's students. We will assist students who have successfully finished their Chinese language program or still studying in looking for an internship here in Xi'an. In this way, students will have the chance to practice the Chinese language that they have learned in school at the same time will be able to find their career in China.

Interns can undertake various duties during the internship period, depending on their own background, experience and Chinese language ability. Most of the internships are in the Business Development, Research, Human Resources or Marketing departments of various industries. These industries include IT, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, Marketing and Advertising, Telecommunications, Consultancy, Education & Training, Non-Profit, Retail, PR, Travel and Tourism.

With new client companies every year, we are expanding the breadth of industries and fields in which we can secure placement in. This unpaid internship may include a stipend paid by the company for travel or lunch purposes during the internship period. At the end of the internship students will receive a reference from the onsite coordinator.
